Dentium Successfully Concludes “Minimalism”-Based bright Implant Clinical Training in Guangdong, China
Consecutive Seminars in Shenzhen and Huizhou Present a Full Spectrum of Minimally Invasive Implant Education, from Philosophy to Advanced Hands-On Practice

Dentium successfully completed a series of implant education programs for dentists in Guangdong Province, China, holding consecutive seminars on January 12 in Shenzhen and January 13 in Huizhou. Centered on bright Implant and Dentium’s clinical philosophy of “Minimalism,” the program was structured to progress step by step—from theoretical foundations to intensive hands-on training simulating real clinical scenarios—drawing strong interest from local clinicians.
Following the Shenzhen seminar, positive feedback on both the lecture content and hands-on structure spread rapidly among clinicians. As a result, the Huizhou seminar—originally planned for approximately 100 participants—saw a surge in additional registrations, ultimately attracting nearly 180 dentists, underscoring the strong local demand for practical, philosophy-driven implant education.
“Minimalism – Dentium’s New Clinical Perspective”
The program began with a lecture titled “Minimalism – Dentium’s New Perspective,” delivered by Dr. Keun-Young Jang (Seoul Hian Dental Clinic, Gwangjin). Dr. Jang redefined the goal of implant surgery as achieving long-term stability and predictability, rather than merely reproducing prosthetic form. He emphasized the importance of minimally invasive approaches that eliminate unnecessary procedures and focus on clinical essentials.
Moving away from traditional diameter-driven strategies and extensive GBR-centered treatments, Dr. Jang explained—based on extensive personal surgical experience—that fixture-position–based strategies using Short & Narrow implants can serve as reliable clinical alternatives. By sharing how his own clinical decision-making evolved through years of using bright Implant, he encouraged participants to re-evaluate conventional approaches and consider new perspectives rooted in clinical efficiency and biological stability.
Four Challenging Clinical Scenarios, Unified by Minimalism
Subsequent lectures addressed four representative high-difficulty clinical scenarios—immediate implant placement, GBR, sinus augmentation, and anterior esthetic cases—woven into a single, cohesive clinical narrative. The sessions focused on how bright Implant enables clinicians to perform procedures that were once complex and burdensome in a simpler, more stable manner, while reducing the risk of complications.
Each surgical approach was broken down into key decision points and strategies for minimizing failure. The Shenzhen seminar placed greater emphasis on anterior cases and GBR, while the Huizhou program expanded the scope to include sinus procedures, demonstrating broader clinical applicability.
Video-Based Case Analysis and Practical GBR Strategies
Video-based lectures received particularly enthusiastic responses. By analyzing real clinical cases step by step, Dr. Jang highlighted the critical points of minimally invasive surgery and introduced anterior GBR strategies using OSTEON™ Xeno, sharing practical know-how that participants could immediately apply in their own practices.
Structured Hands-On Training: From Fundamentals to Advanced Applications
A major highlight of the program was its systematically designed hands-on training, conducted in two to three progressive stages. Participants practiced:
-
Multiple implant placements using mandibular dentiform models,
-
Anterior GBR in narrow ridges, and
-
In Huizhou only, a minimally invasive sinus solution based on Short & Narrow implants.
Beyond basic placement exercises, the hands-on sessions addressed clinical details that often challenge practitioners in real settings—drilling protocols, precise implant positioning and angulation, hydration and molding of bone graft materials, application of hard-type membranes, and suturing techniques.
Through this process, participants experienced firsthand that minimally invasive surgery is not simply about “doing less,” but rather a strategic approach requiring more refined judgment and technical precision.
Building a Long-Term Clinical Partnership and Community
Following the seminars, Dr. Jang announced the operation of a WeChat-based case consultation channel exclusively for participants. Through this platform, clinicians using bright Implant can receive ongoing case consultation and feedback, reflecting a commitment to building long-term clinical partnerships rather than limiting engagement to short-term education.
This initiative highlights Dentium’s broader vision of expanding a clinical community and educational ecosystem centered on bright Implant, going beyond product usage to foster continuous learning and collaboration.
Expanding a Leading Clinical Network Across China
Building on the success of the Shenzhen and Huizhou seminars, Dentium plans to continue expanding this educational initiative across key regions in China, targeting influential clinics and clinicians. Additional seminars led by Dr. Keun-Young Jang are scheduled for Chongqing and Wuhan in March, where similarly intensive, practice-oriented programs will be delivered to regional key opinion leaders.
These consecutive seminars are designed not merely as regional training events, but as a platform to establish a leading clinical network that shares Dentium’s minimally invasive implant philosophy centered on bright Implant. By focusing on clinics with strong real-world clinical influence, Dentium aims to reinforce its position in the Chinese market as a differentiated education-driven brand, where clinical experience and expertise are continuously accumulated and disseminated.
